We insure you that we are doing our best to make this yearly outreach as safe and as easy as possible. While we do have more details to work out, we anticipate providing contact-free delivery and pickup of the boxes. What is mindfulness and how can it help you become a better engineer? Research into mindfulness continues to grow and show the extensive benefits of incorporating mindful practices into our routines. These benefits range from improved mental health to increased empathy, patience, and compassion, and reduced bias. Through this Engineering Your Mind Workshop, we will explore skills you can use to manage your own stresses, the science behind mindfulness, and an overview of how mindfulness practices can strengthen soft skills necessary in technical careers for successful teamwork and leadership. The workshop will end with a 10-15-minute meditation.
