Welcome to the Fresno ASCE YMF Website!

This is the website for the Fresno Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Younger Member Forum (YMF).  We are a group of young professionals (age 35 and younger) who have graduated from ASCE Student Chapters.  Our objective is to network with other young professionals in the area through a series of professional development events, socials, and community service participation.  We also maintain contact and coordinate events with our local ASCE Student and Parent Branches.

Please join us at any of our upcoming events and contact us with any questions.

Who: ASCE President Kristina Swallow will be presenting a webinar on work-life balance titled "Life as an Engineer, It's a Balancing Act."

Details: The phrase “work-life balance” sounds great but what exactly does it mean? Can it really be accomplished? Who better to share how to do this than the current president of ASCE, Kristina Swallow! We often get so busy making a living that we forget to make a life. In this webinar, Kristina gives her definition of work-life balance and shares unique tips on how she manages the balancing act. She will shine light on barriers to the work-life balance we all strive for and identify specific steps important to every civil engineer wishing to do the precarious balancing act.
