Who better to share how to do this than the current president of ASCE, Kristina Swallow! We often get so busy making a living that we forget to make a life. In this webinar, Kristina gives her definition of work-life balance and shares unique tips on how she manages the balancing act. She will shine light on barriers to the work-life balance we all strive for and identify specific steps important to every civil engineer wishing to do the precarious balancing act.

Holiday Family Sponsorship

2016 Family Sponsorship
YMF will again be participating in the Sponsor a Family Program through the Fresno Evangel Home. The Evangel Home is a nonprofit organization that supports women and children in crisis and that promotes personal development and growth in the family. A family sponsorship allows YMF to help spread holiday spirit by providing presents to the family members who would not be able to afford them otherwise due to hardship.

This year YMF has chosen to sponsor Sonia and her 3 children Natalie (4 yrs), Osvaldo (11 yrs), and Gustavo (14 yrs).  A wish list has been provided to YMF of items that are needed as well as desired by the family.

If you are interested in helping YMF provide presents for the family please contact Alex Jones at ajones@ppeng.com to receive an item from the wish list. The item will need to be provided to Alex, wrapped, no later than Friday, December 15th.
